Advocacy and Respondent Support

At UCSC, we seek to create a culture of consent and respect on campus, empower survivors and dismantle norms of violence. We place a high importance on understanding the intersectional identities of all students and seek to provide a safe and professional space for students to share their experiences.
  • Campus Advocacy Resources and Education (CARE)
    This center provides support and resources (including intervention, academic support, and guidance on accomodations) for survivors of sexual assault, dating/domestic violence, and stalking.
  • Respondent Support Services
    Provides respondents with the holistic support needed to participate in a Title IX investigation or adjudication. Respondent Support Services can also assist students in connecting to resources they need on and off campus, and can help them navigate policy and process.
  • Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
    CAPS Provides students with a wide range of mental health and wellness services. Counseling services are available for any registered UCSC student and are confidential. After hours crisis hotline (831) 459-2628
