Joseline's interview with her mother
Joseline: Why did you want me to attend a university?
Joseline’s mom: You going to a university was a priority for us. It would mean that you would have a better future.
Joseline: Okay. So sometimes parents don’t want their kids to leave for school. Sometimes they have certain concerns or fears. What were some of your concerns when I left to begin studying here?
Joseline’s mom: Well I think that all parents feel concern for their kids. Many times the distance between home and school and the people that you were going to interact with were things I was concerned about.
Joseline: What was one of your biggest fears before I left?
Joseline’s mom: I was afraid you would get really sick and that I wouldn’t be able to be there to care for you.
Joseline: And now that I’m going finish, how do you feel about the four years I’ve spent here?
Joseline’s mom: It’s one of the biggest satisfactions we can have as parents. It fills our hearts with joy and great pride.
Joseline: Okay, thank you.
